Added Main Index.
- - Feels like extensions for either hiding sections or creating tabs would be helpful with this, and also with hiding spoilers. Nyx (talk)
As I've mentioned on the main page, it would be best if the chinese characters and/or additional names are not added in the links themselves. If there's really a need to show them on the current page, put it like I Shall Seal The Heavens (Chinese Characters here) --Appelemac (talk) 13:05, 30 November 2015 (EST)
I've been trying to get an answer from someone on whether it is alright to link to my wiki on TDG, but haven't gotten a response... So I am going to go ahead and play around with the TDG section. I am not trying to step on toes or get anyone angry. If It comes down from on high that they don't want links to another wiki then I understand and they can be removed. I have invested four months of my life into building it and I think I did a good job so there is no reason to start form scratch. Everyone here is more then welcome to use it as an example for ideas as well. It was made on Wikia, so there might be some differences, but it seems the basic code is the same. I think that I can make this wiki a general glossary with more indepth information linking back to mine. I am welcome to feedback and questions. --Sithkazar (talk)
I have added some templates. These are from my TDG wiki, but I have modified them as best as I could to work with other stories. I have also left notes to help you use them. You may use them as you wish.--Sithkazar (talk)
- Character Infobox = Template:Sith Kazar Character Box (example)
- Novel Infobox = Template:Sith Kazar Novel Infobox (example)(this one is a modified version of one that TheEditor put on here.)
- Custom Table of Contents = Template:Sith Kazar ToC (example)
- Scrollbox = Template:Sith Kazar Scrollbox (example)
- Reference Formatting = Template:Sith Kazar References (example)
- Wikia Links = Template:Sith Kazar Wikia Links (example)
- Hide Spoilers = Template:Sith Kazar Spoiler Text (example)
- Collapsible Sections = Template:Sith Kazar Collapsible Text (example)
To add pages, go to existing ones, put the name of the new page between double brackets while editing, save, click on the red link.
Meng Hao while editing -> save -> press link -> Meng Hao
The Prefix before the name is a good idea. However, I don't believe we can convert all the existing pages over to this format. It's simply too much work. Whoever keeps editing the page, I can't send you a pm, since you aren't signed up. I will keep reediting the page, so we won't get 2 different formats of naming. -- Sarhatabaot (talk) 10:24, 30 November 2015 (EST)
The prefixes to be: <the shorcut on wuxiaworld, capitalised>:<page itself>
If it's decided on, that should be added to the main page ASAP
I've just noticed this, but someone added some details to the Coiling Dragon header in the main index.
- Those details should be added in the page itself, not the link to it, to uphold clarity.
I notice that Ultimate Vexation has been dublicated. It has Ultimate Vexation=correct one, and ultimate vexation/Meat jelly=dublicated.
I guess this is the cause of someone not knowing how to use
name to be displayed because they simply don't know of it.
I think it should be showed in the help somewhere, but i'm not qualified to change help xD.--Crusadera (talk) 15:10, 4 December 2015 (EST)
- There should be general conventions:
- links to main sections consist of only the full name (not "I Shall Seal The Heavens (ISSTH)", just "I Shall Seal The Heavens")
- links to sub-sections and pages start with the shorthand of the section, followed by their full name.
- Not "Meng Hao", but "ISSTH:Meng Hao"
- Possiby others?
Yes, to redirect a page "press on more> move" if the page already exists (target you're moving) go to your page;
and add the line
it would be great if editors looked before making a page though, much duplicates, many pages.

Is LUA turned on on this Wiki? If not, people should not be copying LUA templates off Wikipedia, as they will not work. It'd be better to search through the old versions of templates in the page history to find the version prior to its conversion into using LUA modules. If it is turned on, then people copying LUA templates will also need to copy the LUA module out of Module-space (the name of the module is in the "#invoke:" statement) But if the people copying the module do not know LUA (it's a programming language) that's not a good idea. -- 220.127.116.11 07:43, 18 December 2015 (EST)
I was just thinking, wouldn't it be nice if there was a page where people can post corrections for typos they found in the novels? like ISSTH:Corrections. This would prevent the TLs from being spammed non-stop and keep the corrections organized. Additionally, other folks may edit those corrections or comment on whether they're correct or not --Appelemac (talk)
Wonderful idea, however MediaWiki has already solved this for us. Using the Discussion section, we can discuss various sections of the page.
Hmmm... I was thinking more of an organized page, as the Discussions tend to get cluttered, but I suppose a few edits on the Discussion pages of novels could do the magic. Only issue remaining would be spreading the word, especially to TLs --Appelemac (talk) 14:22, 1 December 2015 (EST) Would something like this work? Timeline or Arcs added to General Novel Template
Some readers want to know what will happen because they like spoilers. Also, this helps readers remind themselves of past events, so instead of reading the chapter again, they can reference the wiki - Dou
This can been done by creating a new template for timeline and arcs that can be added to novels. If anyone is able to do, then please do so. If not I will look into at a later date. --Tasear (talk) 13:48, 21 April 2016 (EDT)
